UMAMI is a sushi restaurant that offers only high-quality, handcrafted sushi made on-site from top-grade ingredients. The head chef at UMAMI is Axel Clausen, a former member of the Icelandic National Culinary Team and a winner of numerous awards.

Umami is one of the five basic taste sensations, alongside salty, sour, sweet, and bitter. The word comes from the Japanese term umami (うま味), which describes delicious or savory food. The umami flavor is characterized by a deep, rich taste, often described as a variant of saltiness.
